Electric Suites

A complete electric suite, which includes a fireplace or mantel with an integral electric fire, is convenient, reliable and easy to install. Usually, providing a fan heater offering up to 2kW output and with limited fixing required, all that is needed for an electric suite is an adjacent electric power supply.

Most electric fireplace suites come with a realistic fuel appearance, and there are now even products on the market that use translucent materials and microchips to drive the effect, giving customers a wide choice of colour outputs for their electric suites.

Solid Fuel

A solid fuel fire is the only choice for some. An open fire is a cost effective and reliable form of heating and is the ultimate in creating a delightful homely ambience. A full range of fuels are available for solid fuel fires, and for those with homes in smoke control zones there is a large variety of smokeless fuels.

Medical research has also shown that solid fuel fires and heating can greatly reduce the risk of hay fever, asthma, eczema etc.

In stove we offer a range of multi fuel stoves to suit all requirements.

No Chimney

If your home has no chimney or flue, there are still many no chimney or flueless options available. The choice ranges from electric or gel fires through to gas fires that require no chimeys or flues.

Gas fires are now being manufactured with a balanced flue or a powered flue that only require an outside wall. A recent development is the flueless fires which can be sited anywhere in the home. All are designed to look and perform like their flued equivalents and all meet the same stringent safety requirements.

Electric Fires

Electric fires have come a long way since two or three bar radiant electric fires with its curved back and on/off control. Today’s electric fires offer a host of visual effects, traditional or modern styling, thermostatically controlled heat output and even remote control.

Provided there is a electricity supply close to hand, heating with electric fires is probably the easiest and quickest type of heating to install, with the minimum of disruption when being installed. Electric fires and fireplaces are basically plug & go products requiring no installation.

Gas Fires

The main consideration when choosing a gas fire will be the compatibility with your existing flue provisions. It is wise to have an on site survey by a Gas Safe registered gas installer before you begin because brochures cannot provide the depth of information you need to successfully and safely choose your fireplace.
